Spent a lot of my childhood going there, I won a penalty competition (beat pricey in the final) and the trophy was one of Eddie Snooks old ones. Great days, Washington was a class place to grow up in.

Me too. Apparently the name was because it looked like a computer. My mam still says that about a few things. If it looks unusual and has clean straight edges, then it looks like a computer. She has seen plenty of them these days and knows stuff doesn’t, but likes to say it anyway.

Yeah the giro stuff was phased out and they moved the rest of the work to Norwich and Leicester in 2017-18 I believe, worked there from 2001 to the 2018
