I'd concur with all of that. However,I've just returned from Lords. Ability wise ,I'd say both attacks were of about equal ability. However the difference in both discipline and thought between the two attacks was starc. My criticism is directed at the coaching staff.

I too was at Lords.
Leadership and management - on and off field - are my biggest beefs.
Both from a cricketing perspective and a marketing one.
Whilst we should feel confident we can win 2 of the 3, which would be a good return to come home with - the bigger issue in all of this for me is the ridiculous arrangement of the schedule which sees us play a large number of home games in a very close together manner and many of which are on ‘unfashionable’ nights. It looks and feels to me like an marketing nightmare. Getting bums on seats for a competition that we can all agree is every (non 16.4) clubs biggest money-spinner will be a very tall order.
Given my opinion of the (FT)ECB, I’m inclined to believe it’s entirely intentional.

More time to sell tickets and from what I read counties are complaining to the ECB that this season the Blast has become the unwanted child to the ECB, in favour of The Hundred (as was predicted).

Root and Brook named in Yorkshire squad for their opening T20 match tonight so hopefully our 3 England players are available for the first 2/3 games.
Got the 3 big ones on the Friday nights. I think £70 is great value for non members but it's been that way for a good few years without any great return in terms of attendence apart from the Yorkshire match.

Oliver George Robinson is a very talented Wicketkeeper, and a very dangerous/ destructive batsman in this form of cricket. If picked he won't let you down.
Kent CCC have a very strong squad this year, and with Sam Billings back from the IPL, along with Jordan Cox being a very capable wicketkeeper too, the club thought it best to loan him out during this short break in Championship cricket to keep his eye in.
Just don't give him the Captain's position, as he's fcuking hopeless at calling the toss of the coin.
I'm a Kent CCC member, and you're getting a very talented, young cricketer. I'll be keeping an eye out on his performances for you.

About 90% this for me.
Why would someone who was at the members meeting in April and was mentioned on a thread that he and Doneathy both could not wait to play against Hampshire do something like this. He still played for the University who would surely have disciplined him for that sort of behaviour if it is true.
Maybe some of the younger 2’s players could enlighten us especially if they maintain contact with him.

My expectations for this are very low. Just a case for me to go & watch a bit cricket and have a bit craic with folk. The nephew will be attending as he has in recent years for the T20 games and last season the 50 over games, both which he has enjoyed immensely and the club should be applauded for making cricket affordable for kids at £20 for a full membership is incredible value for money. I hope he continues to enjoy it, that's really my main hope from all of this.

The club can't do anymore it's superb value for adults children or families. No excuses after the lockdowns for locals not to turn out in good numbers. But will they?

I think an adult T20 season ticket is £70 which is £10 per game. When you look at what football clubs charge for entry (it's £21 on the gate at Hartlepool for example), it represents excellent value. A father & son can watch 7 games of T20 (weather pending) for £90, which is £12.85 per game. I'd like to think folk got out and supported the club, they go above and beyond for the bairns during the T20.
For comparison the cheapest adult match T20 ticket at Sussex is £25 and it goes up to £35 the day before and on the gate
