I tried booking a hotel in Dundee, then Edinburgh, Arbroath and even looked at Montrose, but all were astronomical......some wanting £1000+

Managed to find a Guest House in Aberdeen for a reasonable price.

Seeing as I'll be travelling up from Eastbourne, that extra hour on the train up to Aberdeen won't bother me for what I saved in £££ for a hotel.
