The buxton season we finished with over 60 points - we had forwards who scored goals... Phil Gray, Craig Russell etc... the 93/94 under Buxton was more enjoyable than this

Tbf it was still progress. Consolidation after coming u0 from division 3. Next season we were promoted.

Yes I remember sometimes it was dull under him and Parkinson, but we were always pushing for promotion which made every game interesting that sense. I think you’re right, Johnson was fine going forward but struggled defensively.
