First offence of using phone while driving crush the phone.
Second offence crush the car.
Right in front of them - on the side of the road.

Maybe the message will get through? It's an addiction. People just can't put them down. What pathetic lives. I absolutely hate phones.

Signal blocker while the ignition is on would be the solution but they wont do that, same way they won't limit how fast a car can go on any given road.

That would fuck phone GPS and stop passengers using their phones too

Solution is extremely harsh personal punishments for anyone caught

It's an incredibly selfish crime. Selfish, arrogant and ignorant people drink and drive. I have absolutely no sympathy for them whatsoever.
It is entirely avoidable.

Noticed the amount of people drive through red lights has gone crazy recently, sure people used to slow down on amber, but lots of people seem to go through reds.

Also when you let people out at a junction or on the motorway, people used to flash lights or a polite wave, but this rarely happens.

I’m surprised more people don’t jump reds like. It’s often safe as owt to do it but few do it. Speeding and driving like a bell is norm

I think some car manufacturers offer devices like that as options, I know Volvo did at one time.

You're right.

But the technology obviously exists so why not campaign to get manufacturers to install breathalysers as standard. After all, it took a while to get seatbelts installed and fully accepted. This could be the next logical step.
