Drinking in Sunderland City Centre - restored

Not sure if I’ve seen the town so busy , streets outside the bars were packed , loved it
It couldn’t of worked out better
Great results
Home game
Lovely weather
Most off today

I wonder what reggie did
A small Chablis and off to bed
I hope he didn’t sit up waiting for the motd analysis

Absolutely mental in the hour or so after the game.

The three bars in the fire station and vesta tilleys you couldn't get anywhere near getting served , just a mass of bodies.

Ended up on the street outside the museum vaults

Never seen owt like yesterday like, it made the Coventry playoff semi and even derby days look small time and that’s saying something. We ended up in the National Reserve club post match beside the Cooper Rose for the first time I’ve ever been in there, because we couldn’t even envisage getting served in many other places timely. Tried both Keel Tavern and Engine Room and gave up. National Reserve wasn’t actually bad inside, seems a decent little club and we got served no bother and sat outside.

Nightmare getting served most places which wasn’t helped by people queuing like idiots. Just stand at the bar like we’ve done for years. Middle floor of cooper rose, single file queue going all the way up the stairs to the terrace. Ridiculous.
