Drinking in Sunderland City Centre - restored

Just randomly thought of him as I was eating my lunch and thought the SMB may have some insight into how he was getting on (thought he'd be one of those characters who would feature in someone's tales somewhere on here). Sad to find this. Used to drink in the Clarendon before matches when we did, as others have said, an interesting character. Always grumpy. Having said that, he came back to the Clarendon after we beat the mags early on in the six in a row, and I don't think I've never seen anyone as happy, memorably so because of his usual demeanour. Will raise a glass to him tonight.

Died 2 years ago gone Christmas, good turnout at his funeral considering what a miserable fucker he was 😃
