Drinking in Sunderland City Centre - restored

Happens all owa, look at the rabbit, ttonic, glass spider was the worst and mostly the doorstaff

Heavy handed doorstaff are a thing of the past now mainly because of what happened at Rainton Arena the other month, that went viral all over the world never mind just in Sunderland. Trial hasn't even started yet it's going to get alot of media attention.

I've had a few people say to me she deserved because she spat at him but in what world is it okay for a 6'5 man to put ya hand on a 14 year lasses throat and squeeze.

A few on here tried to defend it. Wrang uns.

We don't get along but atleast we agree on something. It's absolutely disgusting.

Self defence law is all about proportion and reasonable. There's absolutely nothing proportionate and reasonable about a 6'5 grown man grabbing a 14 year old by the throat at an under 16's festival.

Are you OK? Heavy handed doorman are a thing of the past due to two months ago?.....
Also who mentioned heavy handed doorman?
Did you bang your heed yesterday coyno?
I think I'll take in some of the bars in Sunniside pre match today and also have a look in at the Sunniside market whilst down there.
Meeting @Skylon the rabbit at 6?

Visited the keel tavern for the very first time, what a brilliant place and what an excellent addition to Sunderland… just what the city has been missing for years imho.

The botanist was open too, although we got turned away as it was a unannounced soft opening night and it was food only… guess they’re testing the kitchens and staff…

Had a pint in the peacock and port of call then back home…

Said it before, you can see the green shoots of something happening in the city.

You do realise nowadays it's an immediate 5 year ban if you get found guilty over anything which comes under the assault or domestic violence umbrella?
There's a reason why every single doorman has had to resit the course since 2021.

Talk about trying to tell something which you don't know about.

😂😂😂 what you on about, have I said anything regarding anyone assaulting anyone?

What other security measures would you like any bars to take?
I'll probably be in the Peacock then.

Can't understand how LB got a job on the doors at the Rabbit. Not sure if he's still doing it but was last year

Pie and mash in keel tavern after the match was cracking.

Chaplin's busy as ever too

Had one in the Burton House before retiring. First time I've ever been in there
