Drinking in Sunderland City Centre - restored

Is someone in Sunderland living in a time warp like? Pun intended.

Putting a halloween event in January, I've seen Easter products out at this time of the year but not Halloween :D

Ticketmaster map suggests I'm not in the minority either.

The Cambridge or the Avenue (Roker) any good? Fancied trying somewhere else for pre match pint. As an alternative to just getting one in the ground before kick off. Both those places aren't far away from each other about 15 mins walk from SoL

The Cambridge isn't the biggest like, you'd probably end up standing outside.

The Cambridge is now decked out in some decent SAFC memorabilia, strips, photos etc. Busy pre-match. Doesn't do real ale if you're bothered about that. The Avenue, on the other hand, usually has half a dozen good ales on, big screens, also very popular before a match
Cheers marra might try Avenue then, I like real ale, IPAs that type of thing

Got to disagree mate

Had one in that sloanes sports bar when a was through the town on Friday afternoon, wasn’t great.
not many places in Sunderland do a great Guinness mind. Only place I know of personally is Dun Cow but it's dependant on if anyone is even at the bar haha
