where does the best guinness
I’ve drank Guinness all over the town and can’t say I’ve noticed a difference between the taste at any of them or any other pub I’ve drank it at whether that be in Newcastle, Washington, Durham or most recently New York (I mean this in a good sense by the way). Even the Cooper Rose which being a Wetherspoons some might wince at, serve a decent Guinness in my experience.not many places in Sunderland do a great Guinness mind. Only place I know of personally is Dun Cow but it's dependant on if anyone is even at the bar haha
I see where you're coming from but some pubs do some absolutely rotten pints like haha.I’ve drank Guinness all over the town and can’t say I’ve noticed a difference between the taste at any of them or any other pub I’ve drank it at whether that be in Newcastle, Washington, Durham or most recently New York (I mean this in a good sense by the way). Definitely agree with you there, it’s largely why I don’t bother drinking any of the real ales I see on anywhere now because I’ve had too many naff real ale pints over the years. Never experienced it with Guinness though so I usually stick with that, lager or a craft type ale. Don’t know whether I’ve just got lucky or if Guinness is one of the easier things to manage and pour!I see where you're coming from but some pubs do some absolutely rotten pints like haha.
I'll never take any Cooper Rose slander from anyone though. I'll defend it to my grave because it's a bloody decent pub.

It's about as consistent a pint as you can get like. I've never had a pint of Guinness that wasn't right. Is it balls
I'd probably agree. The best pint I've had was in Greens like, served in a John Smiths glass. It's a generic stout, it tastes fine in 99% of places. It's only ever shite if they've not cleaned their glasses properly. It can be a bit better in certain establishments but it's marginal.Museum Vaults

Was dead around the Empire Saturday when the Rocky Horror Picture Show was on.Mortal Hound not re-opening. Not surprised given the state of that side of Town.
Don't see how some bars are going to survive until April when the next big business comes. Only Ttonic and Cooper have the legs to survive on that street.
January most places is quiet, especially before pay day.Was dead around the Empire Saturday when the Rocky Horror Picture Show was on.
Was busy before and after like.
Can imagine it was dead around the rest of town other than the odd bar with the match on.
I’ll help keep them business. I volunteerJanuary most places is quiet, especially before pay day.
Hull home game will increase numbers a little but if its a cold night that'll effect it. Once past pay day things will improve a bit, lighter nights on the way tooI’ll help keep them business. I volunteer![]()
Glasses not cleaned properly is the key and I'd suggest Chaplin's is guilty of that as I've had some proper lifting pints in there over the years.I'd probably agree.
