Drawn at home to Mags in FA Cup

No idea.

I guess it depends what side both teams put out and whether they see the cup as a priority or not.

If both teams at full strength it’s going to take a lot for us not to get comfortably beat. But it’s a cup game at our place and you just never know.

Hopefully a close game, but a big challenge for our young team.
Its possible they could be out of the Carabao Cup & CL by the time this game comes around. If that's the case I fancy they take this very seriously.

If they beat Chelsea in the QF in a couple of weeks they will have a first leg of a semi final coming up a few days after this game.

Howe has said its a huge game and they are fully aware of the importance.
If there is a footballing God, by all things we hold dear in the game, we will be under the cosh for 90 minutes but sneak a last minute 1-0 win.

I will never ask for anything again
If there's a footballing God we'd absolutely spank them and their fans would combust.

I do feel we've gone through so much shit and embarrassment that the football gods should give us this one day. Mind, they probably think they did enough by letting us actually win a play off at Wembley so might not be dishing out any more favours for a while

Not much talk about a replay on the thread but wonder if some mags would like that to 'smash the mackems' at their own place. Provided we maintain discipline I don't see a hiding at our place at all. Defeat likely but not a hammering.

Why would i be - we don’t give out freebies 👍🏻
You must be a very new supporter of NUFC if you think this. Only a few years ago when fans were protesting Mike Ashley for zero hours contracts; (go fathom that with the defence of a murderous state?) he offered 10,000 free half season tickets if people bought a season ticket. How can you not know you recently gave away ten thousand free half season tickets?

Looking at the current availability for HST is actually pretty astounding that there are very few twos together in the lower bowl

Not sure many other clubs who have our recent history could sell that many to be honest

Because they rewrite history. Had one online sh!tting on about it earlier.

one thing they are excellent at is blanking out anything that shows their club in a poor light. it's why they are held in contempt by most folk you meet at football grounds round the country.

If we can get them to a replay I would be proud of the team tbh. Richest club in the world vs youngest team in the Championship.

If we avoid an historic, memorable, 5-1 type scoreline we've probably done ok.
if we win it would be our best result since we last beat them
if we lose i wouldn't care
