We don't know that though, people have very short memories - Lincoln away was just as bad as anything Parkinson has served up and but for a last minute penalty we would have lost at Bolton (just two weeks after they assembled a whole new team of freebies and loans from scratch) - we may be a few points better off but fans would still be as frustrated and angry which is absolutely how we should feel, it's just not acceptable.

Just pointing out that some folks are twisting his words. Surely if SD has been as bad an owner as is being made out, there would be no need to lie about things he has said?

Long thread and I'll admit I haven't read it all, but unless Donald repays the loan FPP are the only potential buyers aren't they? Thought a condition of the loan was that no shares could be sold?

The committee were consulted and the co -opted reps were also consulted. The latter is important as the point of having co-opted reps like @Ghandi Floss is so we can hopefully take the temperature of the majority of fans that way. And of course the tide has generally turned these past couple of weeks - in and out the stadium.
When it came to deciding when and how to become active on this it was done quite quickly, without time for a full consultation.
It's not perfect but I think the co-opt process and the central committee election means we've acted with what the majority of fans and members want. The overall reaction is testiment to that I think.

Great explanation. There is a system in place it just doesn't mean every single person gets to have a say. It's an effective way to get stuff done in a cooperative style organization.

Was thinking about this and theoretically he could sell to someone else and use a chunk of the money to pay back the loan?

Unless they have right of first refusal of something.

Lincoln we deserved nothing, but so what we are a league 1 team we will have poor games . Bolton we were dreadful in first half but improved .2nd half and prob deserved a win on the chances created

Didn’t realise he hadn’t said promise. 15th in League One and 2 wins in 14 is fine when you’re aiming for 100 points.

The football still showed we was always going backwards still and was always going to keep struggling. You honestly know nothing and i don’t know what you have been watching for the last 18 months. Need to wake up and notice what SD has done.

It's a bit of an irrelevant argument really. Ross had to go, he wasn't good enough and he should have been out of the door as soon as the play off final finished. Just because we have replaced him with someone worse doesn't make the decision to get rid of him wrong.
