Never said I know how to run a football club, Donald is running the club at the min , it’s been poor this season but I bet you weren’t complaining much last season

He's not talking about last season, he's talking about this season.
Lost influential players (and still paying wages on them).
Replaced with worse free transfers.
Sacked a failing manager.
Replaced him with a man who fire fights on the cheap and his few successful teams have been where he had time and no expectations (except one season at Bolton).
15th in the third division.
Two wins in 14 matches.
Very little chance of promotion.

He's talking about this season and the responsibility for all of this lies with the owner and his decision making.

We're on to our 11th manager since Roy Keane left. 11 managers in a decade. It's ridiculous.

That is down to taking the right managers at the wrong time like o'Neill and Moyes- managers on a downward trajectory instead of finding them when they are hot like wolves did with their manager - we need to install a lower league version - I suggested the Lincoln managers but huddersfield got them

It’s fuckin embarrassing how some so called supporters are nit picking & constantly trying to find fault with a collective group trying to make a difference
Why is it embarrassing that some supporters don't agree with the statement marra?
I understand the sentiment, but the statement doesn't sway me at all.

I'm willing to give Donald more time as I do think he wants this to succeed and has had an awful lot to contend with in regards to doing the club losing money

He's got it completely wrong with Parkinson, if he comes out and admits it, appoints Phillips, then I'm willing to give him another crack.

I honestly don’t think he is a bad bloke and the situation can be salvaged, but he needs to act fast.

How much of our troubles are due to poor summer recruitment rather than who the manager is?

The problems stem from a lack of funds at the club. Over the summer we didn't sign the right players because SD was trying to find investment and this recruitment was put on hold

It's not just that appointment though..
Are Richard Hill/Paul Reid the most qualified (best available) for their positions? Seemed to be jobs for the boys to me.

From what I can see literally nothing.

It was all about cutting costs, gambling on a quick promotion and then selling for a massive profit.

He doesn't have capital, a net worth of £4 million is absolutely fuck all in football terms and given that likely constitutes the value of his company and property, that means he probably has very little in terms of actual cash.
Exactly mate.

what if it’s hear say, and mate of a mate stuff... ie bullshit. confirming it’s a credible source within the club would be reassuring. So he might f***ing say that. Is that f***ing ok .
Your being stupid ,the blokes not going to disclose who told him and you know that so stop being a knob

I'd have liked those two as well.

When does it end? When will we be happy? I know this isn't the time but it just seems no matter what there is always discontent with the fans.

PP must go and I hope SD find us a better owner but how long will it be until we run them out of town too? Only managers I remember since the SOL opened not being openly booed out are Keane and Big Sam. The rest are hassled after 10 bad games. Again this isn't the time seemingly but at some point soon we need stability.

We're 15th in League One, if this isn't the time when is? Every clubs fans boo the manager after 10 bad games.

I agree we need to change now, PP isn't the answer, but at some point we need to accept someone so they have a chance to build something for the long term.

They don't like. Several clubs have gone down with their managers and come back up during that time. We would never that such a long term view and it's hurt us.

As we and a few other clubs, know all too well, you can't force owners out.

He owns SAFC, it's his property. He can't be forced to sell.

Even if a potential new buyer appeared today, with sufficient money to satisfy SD's expectations, you would expect at least 3 months to get a deal done. Nobody is going to touch SAFC without completing some extensive Due Diligence. If SAFC are still in the lower half of League 1, who would pay the £40 - £50 million DS seems to want?

All you can do, is hope you have a successful January window and you can push for the play offs.
