The point is that it's entirely plausible that FPP still want the club, but their valuation of it is way lower than Donald's. The loan deal has him tied up in knots to the point where his only possible out is to sell to them - at their price, not his.
That might be t he case but nobody on here has any idea that’s what they want. People are just presuming they want to buy it

Updated to follow RR's lead. The last one was pretty cheesy, so I've made it simple, effective and solid

The loan would be a very strange move if they looked into it and decided they didn't want to. What would they get from giving a loan to a business they weren't sure about? 500k interest or something? It wouldn't be worth their while. Of course we don't know, and if you want to take that line until there's concrete evidence to the contrary then nothing anyone says will satisfy you, but I think most impartial observers would assume there's an end game for them over and above becoming a bank for a third division football club

It's not really. The owner doing soundbites with no intention of doing it is dangerous. Maybe it was his plan down the line, but when we cant even afford stadium maintenance I struggle to see how we would have built a hotel.
.

He was going to mortgage the stadium to pay for this idea

@jsdftm04

Is he was still on twitter you just know he'd read every single one of them too. "Charlie, I'm trending!"

As a man of his position, he doesn't have to be physically present on twitter to be informed by people around him what's going on.

Things get noticed you know, especially those operating club social media accounts and what not...

Fail to see what this is all going to achieve other than make a bad situation even worse now. It’s pretty obvious a deal has already been done in a way with the Americans so he can’t exactly sell to anyone else now anyway. We are literally going to have to pray the couple of freebies or loans that we get through the door are enough to get us a play off spot at most. Then hope for fresh investment from the Americans if that’s what there plans actually are. Sad but true.

There is. Under the terms of the loan from FPP he can't sell any secured assets (which includes Madrox's shares in Sunderland) without their permission. FPP effectively control who could be next owner. Donald has no say in it.

The problem is that we don't know anything about FPP and their intentions. Reiver had everyone wanking eachother off about monorails etc but in reality we know fuck all about them.

:lol: I actually do feel a bit for him. Genuinely think he wanted to do well, I think criticism does hurt him, and deep down I think he knows he's fucked up and will feel guilty about it. He'll never have experienced anything like this though. It might only be Twitter, but knowing 13,000 people are talking about wanting you to fuck off mustn't be a nice feeling! I just hope he reacts by trying to facilitate a sale at a fair price (not expecting a profit given the bad job he's done) rather than reacting with bitterness and being stubborn. If he stays, especially if Parkinson is here, and if we're still in league one, season card sales will fall off a cliff next season. I hope he isn't too proud to realise he can't turn this around, won't get us up, won't get the fans back onside. I genuinely don't want this to become nasty or personal at all, just want him to accept he gave it a go but couldn't deliver, and leave
Spot on

I am yes, I already tried to do it on this thread

But the prototype avatar wasn't as good and I just got largely ridiculed, but with RR and co's lead this one will be more effective.

It would be great if they did but have me doubts if anything would happen now

Please let this happen. SD thought he’d get promoted relatively easy and make a fast few millions.its totally backfired. Worrying times ahead.
