Never trusted him after he claimed he was dm'ed abuse on twitter and this was when things were looking good, clearly bullshit.

I always had the feeling that buying the club was merely a business move. Buy the club, get it back in the Championship, sell at a profit and move on. When it become apparent that promotion wasn’t happening, problems really begun. I think there were paper over cracks last season but a cup run and being half decent sometimes was enough to turn a blind eye to these concerns.

It's utterly pointless even trying to have a conversation with you now.
Why because your not capable, yes he needs to sack the manager, but some on here seem to think it’s easy just to change a owner, if it were that easy lots of clubs would be doing it

I have know idea if he said that or not, it’s totally irrelevant to the conversation
It's not really. The owner doing soundbites with no intention of doing it is dangerous. Maybe it was his plan down the line, but when we cant even afford stadium maintenance I struggle to see how we would have built a hotel.
And what if he does an Ashley and digs in? This is going to get messy imo and if he doesn't want to sell he won't.
He cant afford to keep us going. Why do you think he loaned £9m.

So, it’s got people tweeting? Right okay, cool. What next? Any direction from these parties that seemingly got on the cans on a Friday night and wrote this?

It stinks of a chip on the shoulder attitude and reeks of entitlement, something we’ve long laughed at Geordies about, it’s message could be summarised in less than the length of a tweet.

As I actually posted, I want Donald gone and I’m not a fan of his or his regimes but I do feel that the statement could and should have been so much better than it is. I’m glad it’s mobilised people (did people actually need mobilising?) but I ask what is the plan here from these groups? Are they going to go down the approach of CARD (Charlton Against Roland Duchatelet) or are they merely standing around and stamping their feet without any plan or direction in place like some sort of Arsenal Fan TV production?

Over 12k people are tweeting DonaldOut. We are the 9th biggest trend in the entire country as an exact result of those fanzines tweeting. Message loud and clear for me.
The same chairman put in the match programme in our very last game hed never felt the atmosphere had been better in his time here FFS.
They dont need to set out the blueprint in their first statement. All the fanzines coming together and just those few basic words in those tweets has caused a huge seismic reaction. I'd probably guess there has never been such a response in the history of football in this country stemming from the tweets of a couple of fan pages.

You mean you hold a level 1 coaching badge which they hand out for turning up, any argument you have for supporting Donald is nonsense as the isn’t one good thing about him getting his hands on our club. You will be deleting your account out of embarrassment.
You really are clueless you moron, you have no idea about my footballing career you clown. Are you really that stupid , all I’m saying is people seem to think you can just protest against a owner he will leave and someone else will come in, new flash it doesn’t work like that

Looking like the £10m wasn't a chance for Donald to prove he could make the club a success, it was getting him on the hook with just enough rope. Almost as if they knew he'd fail and would then have no option but to stay and see the club's value plummet even further, spend £10m (that he wouldn't get back) to get rid of them, or agree to sell at their valuation
Hope you're right marra.
Anyone have any idea what this tennis ball stuff is about? Seen a couple of mentions of it on twitter.
Been done as a protest at games in europe where fans hoy tennis balls onto the pitch to stop the game.

Can’t remember him ever saying he would build a hotel considering there’s 1 next to the stadium

To be honest I was not a fan of the statement but as others have said it's mobilised the fans en masse which is the most important thing. It may be enough for SD to counter state saying fair enough he'll sling his hook, then it would be objective complete.

I'd love to see the look on Methven's face when this sinks in, particularly after his 'sunderland fans don't understand business' line... 😂
