totally disagree tbh.

Agree.

At the time we were 15th, Methven had walked out, Juan still has never arrived  and Donald had gone awol other than to keep backing Parky who had undergone our worst run of results in our 140 year history and the recruitment team behind a few poor transfer windows.

I actually believe the groundswell support was further behind the fanzines at the time than even now.

On a side note anyone reckon both Davidson and Methven leaving in little over a year gives some credence that they all only wanted/expected to be here a year anyway! Donald has been miserable since the summer too... They don’t seem to have planned for a long haul here

I've said it before mate, where were any of these posters, just after the announcement but pre wins? Not one of them made a peep!

STH - DO

We've had enough of this incompetent stewardship, simple as that.

Having said that and voted the way I have, as many others did I disagreed with the timing of the statement. To put it out on the eve of the transfer window just was never going to help the situation. Not that I believe Donald when he says he was going to invest significantly mind.

Exactly.

All fans of big clubs create 'noise' when things aren't going well. SAFC is a bit different in that the fans are canny respectful and have never had a real 'go' at an owner. This is unchartered territory and one move I think is absolutely correct.

Any fans positive about SD and his methods have no perspective and as 'ol Methven pointed out, lack business nous.

Unfortunately our owner comes across like a bit of a spiv and the club has been underperforming to an alarming degree on the pitch like never before, which can't be divorced from violently poor off-field decisions.

Ok so costs have been cut, that's relatively easy and internally controllable, the domain of an accountant. The external build up ; the football product and communications has been terrible. The fact SD employed a PR expert and old cronies, shows how bad his strategic lens actually is.

Spinny lies and part truths will kill anyone in any role. You reap what you sow..no one else is to blame but the boss.

TBF there's already a few people on here saying while they voted Donald out, they don't agree with that statement.

This poll isn't about the statement, although knowing this place it probably wouldn't change too much.
That's not entirely true. It was put together to give some indication of whether the statement reflected the mood of the support or not, as it had been repeatedly suggested that it didn't represent the majority. As suspected however, it looks like it did...

I voted STH DI I think he had enough him to be an owner in this division and whilst PP wasn't the choice of manager many including myself would have choosen we seem to be turning a corner on the on the pitch.
My big concern is that with a divided fan base a portion of whom have actively turned on the manager and owner I don't see us being an attractive proposition to buy as any prospective owners would look at us and think we buy the club now spend in the summer and if we don't look like getting promoted out of League One we will be chased out of the club.
Whilst am not against change for progression I don't think change for the sake of change is necessarily a good thing.

He was more than happy to sit or have a drink with fans while it fresh and new and relatively 'good' times. As soon as things started going badly he has shown a complete lack of leadership. He hid. A poor appointment as manager and now attempting to stir it up amongst fans. Well I reckon most are uniting against him now.

If he stays we are not going anywhere fast. If he goes it could go either way. What a shit state of affairs.

We don't want to be in this division marra.

There's already been a few people here who have said that they voted Donald Out, but don't necessarily support the statement. As I said in my initial post though, the poll probably wouldn't change much if it was solely on the statement given the mood on here.

That said, I do think there's a good amount of people who are unhappy with Donald, but don't agree with that statement. I've picked that up from speaking to people at the match, along with a vocal minority on here.
