tbf they have reported on stuff before most during this whole takeover saga

They said all that stuff about a consortium of local business men... couldn't get much further away than Eastleigh. They're just fans like me and you.

What's happening here lads been away couple hours and there is about another 10 pages and some crazy thread in capital letters on about it being hours away that seems to be a piss take but I don't get it.

Have I missed owt?

Just looked at ALS and nothing on there about it going tits up!
They put on Twitter that everyone had left the meeting without coming to an agreement. I don't understand what there is to agree on. The efl wouldn't be involved in the deal between short and Donald. They are purely there to decide if Donald and the other members of the consortium are fit to take over and run the club.

Cheers, mate. One wonders where we now stand:-(

Whats your take on the whole situation if nothing has been resolved today ? will we have to wait till monday now ?

The EFL consideration and the deal are two separate things. It's just possible that Short and Donald might make a some changes to the contract if this will grease the wheels. There clearly seems to be a will from both sides to get the deal over the line; that alone makes it very likely to go through.

Remember the day this all came about. Literally NO-ONE knew Coleman was getting sacked and Short had accepted a proposed deal.

I don't believe any fanzine, ex-player or media outlet have a clue what was discussed today.

Could they not put a block on it if it as apparent that Donald and co dont have the capital to meet our running costs?

Isn’t that because Short done all of that himself and no one could ask Short directly?

Precisely, it's all speculation. The deal is done when it's done. Pretty sure Mr Donald will be more than aware of the pressing urgency required to get a manager in and get the show on the road. Far too many bedwetters on here.
