He’s been like that since day one, does it as he tries to gather his thoughts.

He’s a likeable bloke and I genuinely believe he’s involved with SAFC for all the right reasons.
I think he's out of depth and has got a clue how to run a football. He failed at Eastleigh, so I don't know why he thought he could run SAFC.

Well if he reads this forum my message to him is this you have appointed another cheap useless manager who comes out with a load of crap , he wont get us promoted end of, you said you would know when the right time was to go then go now before there is another relegation on the horizon

Yes because constantly changing things ever 5 minutes works for us......says the fan who supports a third division team.

He’s made mistakes for sure, most successful people do....can he learn from them ? Time will tell

He gets credit from me for putting himself forward for the interview.

I don’t buy this running away stuff some accuse him of. He’s obviously been working massively long weeks while the takeover was being discussed at a time when his family circumstances should have dictated his attention was elsewhere.

Yes there will be some that say he knew the size of the club etc and sacrifices need to be made but even though SAFC is a massive part of my life and has been for over 50 years I’d draw the line if my direct family’s health was such that my attention was required at home.

Yes it’s undoubtedly true that he’s made mistakes (staying on Twitter was in my view always destined to end in tears) but I also believe most of them were made with the best of intentions.

It’s very easy to become cynical and always doubt someone’s integrity but my view of SD is that he’s trying the best he can to bring success to the club. It hasn’t always worked out but we don’t live in a perfect world.

I’ll continue to support him and wish him every success at Sunderland.
Well said - totally agree.

I want to like the owners, Donald does speak well and sounds convincing. Methven not so much.

But..cant be arsed with it now. Going to try and not worry about it and just try and enjoy the home games.

The last 3 months have been exhausting.

To all the bed wetters and moaners man up and get behind them.

He has until the end of january to have a descent window and push on or he loses a lot more of the fans Bob. Not being a bed wetter when you see your club free falling before your eyes! The buck stops with him.

No matter how well I did my job last year, if I was underperforming this year I'd be getting called out to explain how I'm going to improve

Freudian slip....

There are a handful of posters who won't have a word said about the hierarchy. They wouldnt under Short, and they won't now under these two.

How can they look at the mess we are in, and the fact they've defended those responsible to the hilt, and not realize they might just be wrong?

I wonder if there is a level we could reach where they ever dare say boo to the boss.

The Admiral has spoken and anyone who does not spit their dummies out psychoanalysed..... I feel so much better now

In purely football terms in the pitch I agree.

so Madrox own sunderland Ltd who in turn own the Sol and the loan is to Madrox only so if its not repaid sunderland ltd are not liable= is that correct
oh and please point to to where i said i had a problem (a link or quote is fine)

I know they will not do anything to spoil what they are building, so get behind them
