So a few weeks ago he was not attending matches because of fan abuse and now it is because he had to go to oxford for family time, did I hear that part right?

I think he is aswell but he isnt very good at PR and desperatley needs experienced people in alongside him to run the club.

Well if he reads this forum my message to him is this you have appointed another cheap useless manager who comes out with a load of crap , he wont get us promoted end of, you said you would know when the right time was to go then go now before there is another relegation on the horizon

It was made public that his family had health problems some time ago but that news was lost amidst the furore around fan abuse.

He has no doubt been subjected to abuse too but quite correctly tonight contextualised it by saying that the overwhelming majority of our fans have been first class.

I like his honesty. Maybe he isn’t as polished and as practiced at interviews as Methven but I think it’s refreshing that he was prepared to go on tonight, not hide behind a prepared statement but give the programme host the chance just to fire questions at him completely unrehearsed.

It was common knowledge that he went to Oxford on family matters and he did say he came off Twitter because of abuse. I have no recollection of him saying he stayed away from matches because of the abuse. Willing to be proved wrong if someone can post where he said that
 
It's all been a bit tinpot from the start (twitter, podcasts etc) but this is getting truly embarrassing now. Donald is in way over his head owning us, I just hope he doesn't end up damaging the club too much.

That might have happened as well, but he refused to hide behind it. Often our friends reveal more about what’s happening to us than we do ourselves.
