Only read the first two pages but my take on that is that it's still happening, but people have exaggerated (completely guessed) both how close it is to completion, but also collapse).

I predicted this weeks ago when it first said it could take weeks to sort out (mind I won't have been the only one). I said there'd be untold amounts of arguments, bans, posts deleted etc. and then it will finally go through. However, my prediction of mid to late September looks to be off.

Out of interest, if it is done, would SD announce it through Twitter? I don’t think so, so bottom line only SD knows the truth but he’s not exactly going to tell us until FPP tell him he can .....

I said last night he has to dumb it down, these aren't used car salesmen he's dealing with. Also we don't know nothing about their offer or intentions. All people see at the moment is the wealth and who they're attached to. That doesn't gaurentee anything unless their plans are solid. If he simply wanted to cash in and cut us loose I'm sure he could have done that by now.
 
Not really the SD update we've all been waiting for but at least we're now properly updated.

Bit worrying that it's still only at a 50/50 stage but I'll keep my fingers crossed and remain positive that it will go thru sooner than later.

It could be done tomorrow and he'd still say the same. He'll have NDA's to respect and wont want to say its done in case it does fall through last minute. It could also be even further away than what he's saying. He has to be diplonatic in a situation like this. Wouldnt read too much into what he's saying at the moment. I trust him to do the right thing for the club.
