If I was in Donald’s situation last night/this morning I’d have said ‘I know everyone is itching to know what’s going on but the process is ongoing so I can’t give much information. If anything is ready to be announced, we’ll announce it’.

That’d have kept things a little bit calmer than mentioning 50/50 or better, or saying people are pretending to know more than they do. He could have kept it nice and short and sweet and allayed a few worries

On the flipside, there are people pillorying those who have the audacity to raise questions (questions that apparently have carried substance) about the information they're reading on here. People are getting flak from unreasonable posters on both sides of the divide.

To be fair when SD came in the club was a mess off and on the field, despite Short clearing the debt.

SD has cut costs and got the finances nearly round the right way, although next year will not be pleasant financially if we don't go up.

The engagement with fans whilst being welcomed has lead to over analysis of everything that's been said. In hindsight I would suggest the podcasts with fanzines were a mistake as SD does like to waffle on and when he's gone "off script" he has a habit of being economical with facts

Sorry I was more indicating how long and difficult actually getting over the finish line can be. I think info is given in good faith and i don't mind questioning it however some of the responses makes this place look like Parliament

It’s out of control .Im all for free speech for the Englishman but I feel as though it’s out of hand on here now .

One of the reasons I general keep of PF but recent events have dragged me back on .


I’m looking forward to getting back on smb and arguing with people about darkies down millfield closing their curtains all day etc .
