1. It's 11.25 here and it's filling in an hour before lunch.
2. It happens mate. We all have them or am i to assume the 45,000 you lot were getting under Reid were all life long SAFC fans who just didn't like ambiance of Roker Park.

Fact of the matter is that both sets of fans will have it's share of morons (the OP illustrates this on just about every post) but in the main we are no different apart from supporting different coloured stripes.
 
I don't hate anyone, it's far too strong a word to use, especially when it comes to something as relatively trivial as football. I dislike certain sections of their supporters, but many of them (like the ones I work with) are decent people.

I thought the tragic deaths of John Alder and Liam Sweeney, and the subsequent cooling of 'hostilities', would be the beginning of the end of the faux hatred between our two great clubs. Ah well, we can all dream.

How the fuck do you come to that conclusion??. By the same logic there is a load of plastic SOL come lately fans who've never experienced the joy of a visit to roker park

When it comes to a lot of our fans and their hated of you lot then logic doesn't come into it I'm afraid. I don't care how many fans go through the gates of their respective teams grounds it is no guarantee of a big successful club as both sunderland and Newcastle prove.
Prior to KK arriving st James was regularly very sparse but as you quite rightly point out for the ten seasons or so prior to our move to the SOL our crowds were low as well. As I've stated in previous post the only real difference is we support different coloured stripes and that about it.

You really need to get a bit of perspective in life...getting a new job because they work with people who support a different football team wtf???....

I've got friends who are SAFC fans and I can honestly say they are decent folk, not scrounging doley scumbags with shit morals views and ethics. same with I have lots of friends who support different teams but there is no hatred at all there towards them it's just football related banter...that's all it will ever be HATE is such a strong word. Let's remember it's only a game of f***ing football there's a lot more important things in life
