Disturbing films that have stressed you out?

There’s loads I suppose. Older I get the more they stress me out and for some reason recently during lockdown I’ve tended to go for films of a more uplifting nature but nevertheless this is about stressful films or disturbing films you’ve seen..

Audtion, Japanese film. Loved it but end was awful :lol:
Eden Lake, the fire scene I hated. Good film
Come & See. Whole thing just made me feel dreadful. Too much given it is real.
Irreversable. Both the rape scene and the fire extinguisher scene made me feel wrong. Good film though.

Must be loads more.

I was more disturbed by the remake.

Really the original is a brilliant film, though. Even after the credits started I was thinking '..... but he got out right?' Rug out from underneath you stuff.

i can tell you're a big fan of Joe Pasquale.

That film is a bit like the Texas Chainsaw Massacre. People think it's violent when in actual fact there isn't that much that is realised in effect. It's what you don't see that counts.

Britt Ekland though. I'd like to kiss her.
 
Was recommended "Aniara", decent sci-flick and throroughly enjoyed it.
Grim like, the allusion to the entropic decay of everything isn't something you want in a dark room at 3am. :lol:

I’m pretty certain I watched it on acid the first time. Terrible grainy VHS copy in black and white. Probably lost some of its impact having no colour. Tarrantino couldn’t get a scene in a kill Bill through without putting it in black and white. Supposedly the asian version is in colour because of their love for spraying red blood in colour.

same, I wasn't really getting it for the first half, but the last half, and in particular the last 15 mins was very powerful

Cn't think of right word, but its been on my mind, just watched it last week

Midsommar, was thinking about it for days after. Didn’t help that I watched it when really hungover on New Year’s Day.
 
Although films dont have to be all fun and games i have the faintest interest in graphic,disturbing films .Got to ask yourself why you'd enjoy it .Watching some lass who's going to be murdered or whatever scream for her life ,pass
