Disney world Florida

Currently getting tornado alerts on my phone. Quite windy and pissing it down but looks like orlando will miss the worst of hurricane debby

Mate I wouldn’t advice it’s hell on earth not what I call a holiday 13 dollars for a bud light every meal like 300 quid foods f***ing rank as well the whole things just a total rip off it’s so expensive over there now 100 degrees walking about with a backpack for 2 weeks isn’t a holiday
That's why you get a meal plan and you get a free beer that isn't crappy Bud Lite.
Think I mentioned before I went a couple times there as a kid. Can remember cycling round the lake, sleeping on hammocks on the beach and heading off to the parks on me own very early in morning to get on rides before everyone else. Just had a look now and it’s 5x the amount we paying for same dates next year 😂
Yeah, you can still do all of that. Now you can be at the parks quickly too. I was there when the the star wars ride was new and you had to turn up at about 6am to get a slot to ride it. The skyliner was a godsend then.

Those prices will probably come with free dining though. It's always going to be a lot more than idrive.

Talking about time to get in, don't forget the lake buena vista hotels. Basically in the border and most have hourly hopper buses.

Can't beat it imo.
.
Those of you going in August have my sympathy though. Worst weather there is on earth. 40c and 100% humidity!

January was perfect. Weather in early 20s, no rain.

There was a couple of colder mornings though. Meant I could enjoy the Joffries hot for a change.

Lynx buses for us. 45 mins hotel to tcc for $2. Some days was 30/40 mins in an Uber when we couldn’t be arsed with bus.

Though nice walk to springs then bus to CBR then skyliner was also done.

Nowt worse than waiting around for shuttle buses. That includes when staying onsite.

That being said, if you're staying at pop century a bus seems to come every 25 seconds.
Good thing is that you know when they're coming, so turn up 5 mins early just to be sure.

They are (were) the same as the busses that run on property anyway.

I'm sure that skyline changes opinions though!

That's probably better yeah. The onsite hotels were random and sometimes you could wait half an hour or more.

Skyliner is fantastic. If they could extend it then it would be great.

From CBR to Hollywood Studios and Epcot was perfect. Sometimes in the morning if we were going to MK we would just get the skyliner to Epcot and get breakfast in world showcase and get the monorail.

Anything to avoid the bus. AK was the worst, seemed to be miles away and there was no other option.

Out of interest how far on the monorail is it from Epcot to MK mate?

We’re stopping at Pop next week. Taking the bairn to MK on our first full day. Dunno if bus or skyliner and then monorail is the better option

The bus will be quicker. It's only worth doing the other option if you want a morning walk through Epcot and really want to avoid the bus.

You'll also have to change at CBR to a different skyliner.
