Disney world Florida

Anyone been to Teppan Edo at Epcot? Looking for new places to dine rather than on the go.
The sitty down Japanese? My folks always go there, my dad is a big Japanese fan (worked for a Japanese company all his life, spent time out there etc).
The quick serve Japanese used to be about the best value in all of the parks imo

The DIS and the Disney Food Blog are both great ways to find out what is good to eat out there.

I don't recall the Mexico one (beside the Mexican Small World, yeh?) being highly recommended though.

The Mexican quick service in Magic Kingdom is topper though, the salad bar is help yourself, which really helps. Loads of nice seating upstairs too. By Repunzal's tower iirc (been 5+ years mind!)

Just watching the DFB on YouTube but her whining tones getting me down. 😂

I was over at the West Coast theme parks recently. Disney is smaller, quieter and much more relaxed than the constant bull bait of some of the Florida parks. You can walk straight into characters with no queue, ride queues are generally quite short in comparison.

If I could afford to go that side every time I probably would.

I used to watch all the DIS Unplugged stuff, which seems to be called DIS Unlimited now. Here's their food vlogs

That's the one. Always fancied that - anyone been?
Ah, its a character meet place too - even better.
Aye we took the kids there for Character breakfast in 2016. It was absolutely superb. The whole restaurant rotates slowly so you get a different scenery while you eat. The food was great and loads of characters come to your table.
Haven't booked it this time though (going tomorrow) as the kids are 16 and 17 now so they probably wouldn't appreciate it as much

Have you ever tried the family style place at Epcot, above Soarin? Green something or other from the top of my head.
Yeah, it's like an American style Sunday dinner. It was good as the characters keep coming around as it revolves.

The veg they serve is grown there.

We went to the Mexican at Epcot and it wasn’t great. I just remember getting loads of bland rice with everything. It was 6 years ago though so I imagine it’s changed!

My favourite place was Mama Melrose at Hollywood Studios. The NY strip was that good we went there twice.

The quick serve Mexican in Epcot is disgusting.

Mama Melrose was nice steak, agreed. Not sure I had a bad one at Disney.

I know it can be a canny chunk out the day going but just looking for different bait options. Two goods means we going.
I've been a few times and it was good every time. If you get one of the better chefs who put on a bit of a show then it's even better.

One thing to consider is you might be sharing a table with some randoms.

Aye that’s what DFB say is a negative. Don’t bother me.
