He's a good player but he's cited Nolan as being a massive influence on his ability to settle in and play well in England. Wonder how he'll do without him.

Also, only 26 appearances last season is surprising, even though I knew he had disciplinary issues.
 
Tiote's disciplinary record is shocking and there is no way it can be tolerated if it continues next season. Other than that he is an outstanding holding/defensive midfielder.

There was a small element of that, which was picked up on a few occasions, but he still desperately needs to find some control - no question.

btw Cattermole got 4 less yellow cards but 2 more red cards than Tiote.

Not too dissimilar on the discipline front, no?

I've said he's rash but that he's a good player. Ned doesn't even seem to acknowledge he's a good player.

rocky, can you just not f***ing accept I think the blokle is a hyped-up dirty ? and i appear to have the stats to back me up? big clubs (arsenal and liverpool) looked at him and decided he wasn't worth the aggro - you seem to forget that.

Must just be me but its plain to see when watching Tiote that he is a good player, if a little rash.

If you're going to argue he's not 'dirty', just 'rash' or 'clumsy' or some other shite then basically you're arguing my point that he's not as good as some, you included, are trying to make out. you can't have it both ways fella.

26 games and 14 bookings. in 14 seperate games i.e in more than 50% of his games played, the referee (the arbiter of what's 'dirty') decided he'd acted the (unt once too often and booked him. Fact.
