It looks daft and pathetic at any time.Looks daft the next day but in the moment it was a tad frustrating i must say
On the back of this post ive went back and re watched it and you are being very generous. It really was there for the takingLooking at the slow mo I don't think the chip is a terrible choice or even badly executed. He does disguise it reasonably too as the goalie is on his way down before he actually kicks it.
The problem was that he was quite straight on so you have a limited amount of corner to pick out. The goalie doesn't rush at Diarra's feet so rounding him isn't that easy either.. The keeper doesn't give him any really easy options.
It was a decent move all round up to that point and Diarra has now got himself into those situations a couple of times recently which is encouraging and why he is in the team. Is be far more worried if him and the team were getting chances at all tbh.
As mentioned earlier, we lost that game due to the defending.
Diarra's all round play was decent IMO. GOod at his defensive work and was dropping deep to show for the ball a number of times with tidy control and lay offs. Nothing flash but it let us keep possession at times and helped pull players around the pitch a bit which you need to do to make things happen. It was also Diarra showing up in the channel and getting a cross in that led to Rigg's goal.
Absolute baby of a poster. Same as that fella who supports two teamsThe state of this.

You can't fault his energy, outstanding in that department, he can run for days. What a strong run from Diarra in the 93rd minute of a competitive game
100% mate.Fortunately the 3 or 4 on here who want Diarra to pack his bags and fuck off will still just be a tiny minority at the games. Support from the club, team mates and proper fans hopefully helps the lad deal with the online abuse.
This - like a gazelleWhat a strong run from Diarra in the 93rd minute of a competitive game
I fairness, I support Sunderland and Shields. Used to go to shields in the 70s, when we were away, back in the Jack Clark Park days, when there were about 15 of us there, on a good day.Absolute baby of a poster. Same as that fella who supports two teams![]()
& le fee cost us the third goal too100% mate.
Find it ironic that those minority who want Diarra replaced with Le Fee in the middle would have been wanting Le Fee sold when his penalty v Brentford was saved.
Yeah, his passing is abysmal.I like his energy but he is one of the most atrocious passers of a ball I've seen. In fact, that's probably why he didn't pass it to Talbi.
Ha, we used the word gonk in simultaneous posts. This - like a gazelle
There are some absolute clueless gonks on this thread mind
It’s almost as though young players are inconsistent - who’d have thought eh?Just baffles me. I remember Mayenda getting crucified for a bad miss in the championship and he goes onto to score the equaliser at Wembley. People just don't learn and can't wait to criticise.
Hope I’m not includedThis - like a gazelle
