Nothing less than outright shambles. The DM article has a section 'what went wrong' which starts from last month. I think it's fair to say is should start several years ago.

Independent regulator and annual 'stress tests' required with enough capital to survive in the event - most likely relegation - with commitment from the owner to fund where required.

It's not that hard to do, just needs authorities to face up to reality and for the PL to take some responsibility; it's when clubs are not in the PL that the issues arise.

the owner did fund derby where required..the problem arose when the league ordered him to stop funding them as it was breaking league rules
 
I know it looks messy and complicated at the moment but surely the fact that there seems to be a few interested parties must give the fans hope that they won't go under?

I suppose the risk is that there'll be groups who are tyre kickers or chancers. Hopefully they don't waste any time on them, but if they're offering more money (which they may or may not have) then there's always a chance. In some ways it would probably be better if there was just one serious bidder! Hope they get sorted

Depends on who those interested parties are.
I appreciate beggars can't be choosers - Sorry, Derby - but at the same time you don't want to see them jump out of the frying pan into the fire.

one is a guy called appleby who is a former owner of derby..im not sayin he is any good or not,but he is a known figure to the fans and community etc
