Derby County deal expected to collapse

Maybe because they are appointed by the creditors and they see more value in the physical assets than the club itself

If EFL are not satisfied that they have finances in place to complete the season by time fixture lists are published I doubt that they’ll get to july 1st
What physical assets? They don't own the stadium and the administrator could have sold any training ground if it had wanted to.

The state the Football League is in is a disgrace. Every season it’s multiple clubs nearly going to the wall. The pandemic was a chance to ‘reset’ and see some common sense and adults in the room. The way this has been handled just shows very little has changed, and makes me worry about what could be in store for us with our latest investment drama dragging on.

Would now be a good time to come in with a low bid for any of their players? Thinking from a selfish point of view, their administrators might see if as a chance to buy them more time with funds to keep going.

Absolute disgrace this is a bloke without the funds has been able to waste time like this.
Surely in situations like this proof of funds should be one of first actions to take in such precarious situations like this
Makes u wonder if Ashley has known this all along with this latest chancer and will pick it up at 11th hour at better prices

See Birmingham are being taken over by Laurence Bassini too. The biggest joker I've ever seen. How are these people allowed near?

he showed proof of funds twice

Although my gut reaction is that the CK fella is a complete tool for leaving them in this mess I honestly don't think its the easiest club to buy by any stretch of the imagination.

Can't see it getting sorted before fixture list now.
