All we appear to know is that he caught a flight this morning, we don't know when, at best he'll be in Toronto early afternoon their time
 

The thing with Defoe is that he has that real greedy strikers mentality and he instinctively knows where the goal is. He has a rasper of a shot and he will put defenders on the backfoot......He will frustrate with a few misses but he will make the defenders more nervous and generally have more power and accuracy when shooting than any of our existing forwards.

I once sat next to Jermaine Defoes Mum. I was at a match (Bournemouth versus Bury - don't ask...) and he was on loan at Bournemouth from West Ham. Never heard of him then but he was a different class (I nearly said head and shoulders above, but managed to stop myself) to the other players. His Mum was quite enthusiastic as I recall.
