He also called that Aubameyang goal against Watford the goal of the season. The one where Aubameyang charged down the keeper and when the keeper tried to clear it Aubameyang blocked the clearance and it went in the goal. Idiot.

Aye he had this big story about it all that had his mates on the radio in stitches, only he'd made most of it up.
Think it was Clough's assistant who came out and said he'd completely made that story up. Clough wasn't even in the meeting Saunders was talking about.

Not defending that shite radio station but this is one of the great smb myths like, calls are normal rate iirc. Someone did post a link in the last year or two where it was about 12p per minute.
No doubt they spout total shite to get a reaction and people to phone in, fuck knows what kind of person feels the need to argue with some divvy on the radio like.
