Deadwod



Winch will go I think. Diamond probably eventually if we can get some money for him. Questions on Luke… hope he smashes the Champ though
 
We managed to get rid of the real deadwood last January. It went under the radar, but our 3 worst players all got shipped off (Flanagan, O’Brien, Hume). Not really any deadwood left.

I’m unsure on whether Winchester and Diamond can make the step up, fairly confident with most of the others as things stand. I actually think Wright may find it tough against better forwards, as although he had a great end to the season, there were times when he did struggle in L1. Just a random thought - he probably won’t even be starting with Batth and Ballard playing at this level more recently.
 
If we sign clarke i’d loan diamond out to league 1

Not sure what’s happening with huggins is he back yet? If hes ready then maybe could loan hume out too

I’m not sure what you mean?

There isn’t any current players I’m desperate to leave. The players you mentioned I did at the time but they aren’t here anymore.

20 players is a good size for things as they stand, we'll almost certainly add at least two more, we can only field 11, we don't want a 30 man squad, even 25 seems quite bloated.

Two players for every position is a minimum. The question is how many of them are genuinely considered as first team. As well as Taylor, there's Hume and Diamond in there plus Dajaku, who may have been signed through obligation. I don't want an overly large squad but, as it stands, we're an unjury or two away from problems.

Until Gooch started playing there, Winchester was. He's a solid squad member, at the very least.
