Only 2 points worseAnd whose fault is that? There are two right backs he signed who can't get in the team ahead of Billy Jones. He signed three centre halves yet we've been desperate for O'Shea back in.
I'm delighted we've got the wins but they haven't changed my opinion of Moyes to be honest. I think he's taken us so far backwards from the end of last season and isn't the man for us, but he's there now and I'll back him and his team at the games.
Distinct lack of credit for our manager, he has taken an almighty slagging the past 2/3 months so he deserves some credit for the past 2 wins.
probably the rest of my post--unless you think so many clubs are above us with smaller support is down to good luck on their part rather than bad management by us?What has that got to do with anything?
big vic's contributions and pickford finding his feet have been the difference. moyes needs to get the back four looking a lot more convincing for him to start earning a bit of praise imo (and i'm one who wants to stick with moyes too). i just remember how big sam managed to get pva staying in position and looking like a capable defender, moyes needs to get on this if we are to have a hope
Attendances have got nothing to do with anything you crackerprobably the rest of my post--unless you think so many clubs are above us with smaller support is down to good luck on their part rather than bad management by us?
well you might be happy that clubs with less support--and associated extra income from sponsorship, kit sales etc--keep finishing above us so be it!Attendances have got nothing to do with anything you cracker![]()
There's issues with his transfers absolutely. But 30m and th wage budget we had was always going to leave us shortAnd whose fault is that? There are two right backs he signed who can't get in the team ahead of Billy Jones. He signed three centre halves yet we've been desperate for O'Shea back in.

Loads of ifs here but....
2 mins away from a point a man city
Goalkeepering error down at southampton robbing us 2 extra points
Last minute goal from west ham from a defender with no left foot scores a screamer. 1 more point.
Total player capitulation against Crystal Palace when 2-0 up.
So a total of 7 more points that we should have had with a make shift team. If (massive if) we had those points we'd be 8th!
So its not like we are miles away, performances haven't been great, but they are unlikely to be when the team is decimated.
Its also clear we didn't get the players he wanted in the summer.
We won two games but looked absolutely awful and could just as easily have lost both. I want him to do well, I want us to stay up but feck me he is making it difficult
He's not making any excuses, he says we lack quality but he's slowly turning things around. Today it was obvious that the players were more passionate. The goal celebrations showed how much they wanted the win. I think Moyes is starting to get through to the players how he wants them to play and winning will improve confidence within the squad.Ive said it before. Ill say it again......
I like him. Hope hes here for decades
Wins are what we needed in these last two games after recording the worst ever start to a premier league season. Going forward from here it's performances we need now, we won't win many more games if we continue to perform like we have thus far, this is what people are concerned about. These last two wins have almost proven that people have made their minds up about him and won't be giving the bloke any sort of leeway in the future. Shame really.
No, it's still wins we need.Wins are what we needed in these last two games after recording the worst ever start to a premier league season.
