Dave Whelan in more hot water

As I point out in the Etihad thread, Dave Whelan fails to pass a 'fit and proper person' test yet the Man City owner gets away scot-free.

Really want to start a thread but can't be arsed, prob banned for even asking but..... Why do Pakistanis take offence at being called a Paki?
(I get how all Asians are labelled under this being offensive)

? I'm not chinese mate so I don't see myself as a victim. But white people claiming stuff's not racist bugs me.
ok then so u abhor the post re Whelan , so now u are going to tell me u will berate every family member or friend u have that have had a meal from a chinese and have uttered that terrible word Chinese , give owa man and get a life , most people despise cultural hatred and offensive racism myself included but people like yourself seem to cling on to non offensive remarks and big them up to almost turn words around and believe they are actually of a racist nature

? I'm not chinese mate so I don't see myself as a victim. But white people claiming stuff's not racist bugs me.
that in itself in your world is racist

Because it eventually escalated into primarily being used in a derogatory context, therefore offensive.

Spastic & mongol were once perfectly acceptable terms for people of certain disabilities. The same fate as above ensued.

Dinnar about all this like. Think a lot of it is just over sensitive adults. One of my lads best mates at school is Bangladeshi. He calls my lad "snowflake" and my lad calls him "chocolate". Suppose it's because that's what colour they resemble. They both think it's funny and not nasty at all.

By his own standards he's not racist. To those who realise he's an 80 year old fella he's not either, When talking to the London media by contemporary standards of course chink and chingaling is racist. And hilarious.

Poor bugger should keep his trap shut

A Chinese or Jewish man his age would very likely not be offended, my grandad had a Jamaican mate and the stuff they used to say to each other man  you'd get prison time for it if you were on twitter.

Just ridiculous tbh. I use Chinese all the time in relation to having a Chinese meal, its not racist just shortened. Like Brits for British and Turks for Turkish.
