It seems a very odd signing given his age and the fact yous have gayle and mitrobitch.

I know I thought he was 30/31 he was regularly shite for us, he has had 1 really good year for Ipswich which wasn't last season. And he struggled in Scotland after leaving us. He's a pea hearted fucker and I hope he does well for them so they offer him another deal and he then won't ever leave
 
My mate is refusing to say it's a shit signing. He scored 50 goals in 3 years you know. They a funny lot Mags like, think Rafa is infallible like he's the Pope or something :lol:

The fact we only have Gayle and Mitrovic as options up front is the reason why the signing has been made tbh. Perez lead the line yesterday and did quite well but it's a long, hard tough season and he'll get plenty of games I'd imagine. I'll wait and see how he does.
 
If McLaren had made some of these signings they would be in full on meltdown mode.

I honestly think Rafa will get them up after accumulating this squad and then nash off back to Spain or somewhere else, To them it will look like hes done a cracking job getting them up but theyll be left with a horrendous squad for the Premiership for someone else to sort out.

Good luck selling Murphy! There's no way you can shift all the crap yous have bought, it would take years! They will all sit on their fat contracts that agent Ashley has given them.

Just look at us as a perfect example.... you can't just simply get rid of these players..... Newcastle will be paying more than any potential new buyer from the championship.... the same as when we were trying to get rid of bridcutt Buckley gomez etc the list goes on and on.

Rafa has blew a fortune on bang average footballers.... if it was mclaren they'd be kicking off now :lol:

Murphy is average, but he is also on Championship wages. Unlike Bridcutt, Buckley etc. That was the reason you couldn't offload them soo enough
