Dan Neil

Some Dumbos on here thought Xhaka had a poor game v Spurs.
…. nonetheless this place did give Neil more MOTMs last season than anyone else, so the majority DO know what they are looking at.

What a cheap shot.
Did he produce those rumours? … no
Why was it him ? …. Because he had potential.
Who ever said he was good enough for those teams squads ? … no one
Why are you so cynical about the local lad who led his home team to the premiership? … only you can answer that one.

Isn’t what 🤷🏻

Shouldn’t have to be said.
He will come back be a top player for a championship side next season
I beg your pardon! The reference to those teams was posted by an OP on here info from the horses mouth.
Are you saying it isn't true ?
I have merely asked a question so get back in your pram please.

Massive shame. We have seen Neil have some great games in the Championship but his career seems to have stalled. We don't know the money situation but it appears that he should have signed a contract with us and he'd be in a much better position. I can see Hackney moving on and Dan Neil moving to Boro, which would be a good move for him. I'm not convinced there is much between Hackney and Neil. A few weeks ago some on here had written off Chris Rigg as not much more than a run of the mill CHampionship player. Rigg raises his game at every challenge and gets better and better. Had Neil got a chance in the Premier League he may well have worked hard and improved his game as Rigg has. It seems now his career will slide, although, as I say, Boro would be a really good move.

I see it as a shame it's gone the way it has for him, but I don't think he or at least his agent, is faultless. Also, pretty sure Hackney is the better player.

Potentially wanted by Valencia according to talk sport .

Ipswich promotion-winning hero Dan Neil is a target for Spanish side Valencia.

Sunderland man Neil spent the second half of the season on loan at Portman Road and helped on the final day.

The 24-year-old will be available as a free agent when his contract at the Stadium of Light expires this summer.

Valencia boss Carlos Corberan rates Neil highly from his time managing in the Championship at West Brom

Be a cracking move for him for the experience

Great move if it happened. I think Neil is underrated by many on here and maybe overrated by me. His next move needs to be one where he commits for a decent length of time.

Hope he gets a move like that, would be brilliant for him

Could see Boro throwing an absolutely massive contract at him if they come up. Would instantly become their best player

Valencia would be a move he should snap up

As has been said, amazing city but the pace of Spanish football would suit him better as well.

His technical abilities are good but his thinking is slow. More time to pick a pass would let him shine

If they're hoping to establish themselves back in the premier league i'm not sure it's a good idea to be throwing a massive contract at Dan Neil.

Nothing against the lad, but as we've seen this season, you simply need better
