Dan Neil

Here are his stats, which also include a handy algorithm. When placed against others who play a similar position, interesting discussions can appear. One in particular is that a player who would never play in the championship is personally having a better season than he did so far. @The Cabbage
I can't fathom who or what you're on about here?

To be fair I never factored Parky’s Golden Ticket into the equation. Now wouldn’t rule out him playing PL footy. You don’t need to be able to successfully trap it to play Parkyball though:lol:

I await similar excuses from those who said Dan was better than Jobe when presented with one who is a 30m CL player, and the other went to the lesser in a two club pub league.

Worst thing that happened to him was being made team captain, didn't have the attitude/personality for that role, especially with, O'Niens, Ballard's etc in the team. Weighed down on him and arguably stagnanted or reversed any progression he was making

I'd imagine it would have been done with an eye on tying him down long term.

Clearly he hasn't upped his game and can't be trusted with the responsiblity of helping us survive relegation, unlike the others that got promoted with him and irrespective of his underserved wage demands!

He's getting worse with every passing day. He'll have never played well in his career by Monday
The sooner he leaves for his own self esteem the better. He’s one of us and always will be. Doesn’t deserve any malice from our fans. People’s opinions differ wildly about players, I’ve never thought he was a defensive midfielder, he was thrown into that role by the club and I think it’s been detrimental to his career. Hope he smashes it wherever he goes.
