Dan Neil

Aye can't disagree there to be fair. Mind it's arguably better than sitting around doing nothing and rolling the dice at the end of the season and hoping someone decent actually wants him.

I'd probably take the move personally, it could be much worse.
I’d definitely make the move, but if it does go tits up it’ll be a struggle to attract decent English clubs.

Why? Janelt and Ajer both out of contract for Brentford in summer and play regularly same as Bernardo Silva. He’s under contract
Probably because they’re all established or even top level premier league players. Also maybe their clubs are keen to renew their contracts

Neil might need time to adjust and prove his worth, by then the season’s up. They’re different situations

Since when was Rigg?

Neil is a defensive midfielder and slow as hell. There's out of position, then there's out of position.

Least Rigg players further up in midfield.

It's either Neil or Xhaka and anyone who suggests dropping Xhaka, is frankly an idiot and that's being polite.

Dan Neil only dropped to defensive midfield when we literally had no-one else to play there. He, as ever adapted well and did what he needed to for the Team. His natural and best position is an attacking midfielder.

Yeah things change, you know RLB Doesnt

He doesn’t care about any of that he just picks who he thinks can do the job for him

He’s brutal

This is just not remotely true tho

Just because you think he should Doesnt mean RLB does

No way on earth RLB would change his mind based on that

Idk why you think that. Rlb still had to play jobe every game last year.

Hes definitely bought into the whole club plan and part of that is giving players who want to be here more time on the pitch.

An attacking midfielder you say.
Why doesn't he ever attack then?
Answers on a postcard to R. Le Bris

Because he was moved to play the defensive midfield pivot role, the most specialised role on tbe pitch and if you'd actually watched games ladt year you'd have seen he often did still carry the ball forward into an attacking position. In fact identically to how Xhaka plays the same role.

I agree mate, it’s been Xhakas great form that’s been stopping Neil getting a look in, I’m just disappointed that it’s come to this with DN, like a lot of people I just wanted him to get some game time, prove he could make the step up & sign a new contract. I’m resigned to the fact that’s not going to happen now.

wtf

You just completely made that up

No he didbt, he played Jobe as he was one of the best players at the club

What an absolutely bizarre post

If Neil has been running his contract down to put him in the best possible position to negotiate his move I can’t see a loan move to Rangers appealing to him unless he’s desperate just go play some football.

With all respect to Rangers who are a huge club in their league, Neil has been linked with clubs in Italy and in the premier league.

If he waits until the summer I could see a newly promoted side taking him.

Noone thought that at the start of the season.

Its not a bizarre post its backed up by quite a lot of evidence including the contract he had at Birmingham and his playing time the year before where he was clearly shattered.

To think the way you do about le bris isnt a compliment for him. One of the reasons hes so good is the club know that hes got the same aims, as do the players.

Talbi, Rigg, Sadiki even Mayenda are all young players that RLB is working really well with and if there's a choice between playing a player who's going to have a future here and playing someone slightly better who isnt he will do the former. As any sensible manager should
