For us he's a generational talent, no doubt about it. We won't produce many players from out academy that will have such an impact at such a young age

One not long ago after the window closed , I'll try and find the clip and post it. He lost the ball trying to dribble out, but he didn't control the ball which was then played back for a goal with every one blaming O'nien. Its not too many games ago. As it happens there are countless instances where he has been caught in possession this season, last and in his debut season. One poster on this board said he (Dan) knew his weakness and was working on it but yet, it still is occurring. I posted after the boro game that he had come of age and had shown he was capable of pushing on. I want him to do really well and push on but for that to happen he needs to move up another level with better judgement calls on when to dribble and when not to.

Thats fair enough but people aren’t referring to him as being a generational talent for us

Read some of the earlier replies this season. People were comparing him to Messi, Rooney, gascgoine, zidane and any other world beater you can think of.

They just need to relax and see where he ends up.

Some people just love to moan, nothing wrong with him today. Noticed a few posters only turn up when certain players have made a mistake or we haven't won, they seem to find happiness from it.

It's mental. There was a lot worse than him today
Then you see the utter bollocks about captaincy. Last season O'Niens captaincy wasn't questioned at all and we were absolutely abysmal. It's purely agenda driven
