I know on good grounds his family support Newcastle when it suits them, but of Turkish background so no real heart felt connection with them. Can't see it being an issue, considering he was in our academy before going to Newcastle.

I'm sure if he was given the opportunity to move closer to where his family live, then he would. And he would be professional about it.

As a player - very slight but more of a holding playmaker than an attacking midfielder.

2 league in 6 league games, mostly as sub iirc. Directly responsible for 3 points before we sold him and got most our money back. Without those 3 points we'd have dropped and the mags (or maybe even Boro given the goals were a win against them) would have stayed up.

His goals both years were directly responsible for points that kept us up. Yes he's a shitbag, but yes his goals did keep us up.
 
Being honest, I couldn’t care less if he’s a mag if his attitude is right. If he’s a Chopra or a Clark, then absolutely not but if we do some due diligence and he’s not a dickhead and a decent player/prospect, then I wouldn’t be against it.

Strange response. I didn’t know he was a Newcastle fan when I posted it as I’ve said a few posts in. The thread has had a fair amount of responses so I assume some people are also interested. I mentioned him as a Rotherham player subject to bids from a championship club, not a Newcastle player or fan. Stick your arsey response up your hoop though mate for future reference 👍
