Yes from me, the opposition just couldn't get near him and he was playing in an era when football was still a contact sport. Agree about your Keegan comment too as I didn't know anything about KD before he signed for Liverpool.
 
Got into football when I was 7 in '78, used to love watching him, even if it was only on the tele, that whole late 70's into the 80's period for Liverpool was amazing.

I think he was world class, but It would have been interesting if he'd played a few seasons in Italy or Spain to see how he would have performed.
 
According to my fatha, yes unequivocally.

I’m too young to have seen him play. Clips I’ve seen though I’m inclined to agree

Not really true. He played a considerable number of games in Scotland. Keegan managed 185 goals at the top level against Kenny's 118 ( Admittedly scored 111 further goals in Jockland)
They were both great players at international level with Keegan maybe tipping the balance in his favour. As managers there's really no comparison however.
