But despite the numbers against Bradford, the vocal support was just not there.. Quality over quantity everytime..Which is why we struggled to beat a total basket case of a club like Bradford without a gift from the ref with our highest attendance, and why we battered Barnsley, who weren't far off winning the league, with our 2nd lowest attendance of the season.
We beat Bradford 1-0 on Boxing day mate

Each to their own like but its been shockingEnjoyed most matches this season tbf
Did Bradford equaliseBigger crowds mean nothing at Sunderland these days. We had 40k on Boxing Day and couldn’t beat Bradford.
I’m going, dragging the kids along and expecting 30k to turn up. Let’s see which Sunderland team turns up.
Not fishing at all. Just want people to show up and get behind the team . I'm on the end of a fishing line trying to justify gates sometimes if someone rubbishes our support, so lets not give them an opportunity. If fans have been all season, why not for this , the biggest game.

Negativity and anxiety transmits from animal to animal and human to human- it totally effects players or they’d be robots
Well I’ve had a nightmare here, but my point still stands, we’ve had big crowds many times over the years, and they’ve let us down.

To be fair, all of the criticism that i have read is directed at those who choose not to attend and not those that cant afford to. Really sad for those that cant afford to go and yes, £20 is a lot of money to many people. On this occasion the club's hands were tied. What about the ignorant gob shites who presume everyone should be able to afford it?
Less people there then less people winge when a pass goes astray then. No wonder we battered Barnsley.
Top players rise to the occasion while mediocre players can wilt- when we had good players under reid they thrived on the noise and 40k plus
ExcusedWhat if you can't go because other plans were already made that can't be changed?
Ffs man, support like you've done all season and put your toys back in yer pram whilst yer onThere’s a difference between ‘fans’ and ‘supporters.’ Fans are people who are defined by “liking” a club, they don’t necessarily go to games and/or pay to watch, anyway. Whereas ‘supporters’ take it further and “support” the club financially. I’m a ‘supporter,’ I have a season ticket and have had a season ticket for years. I spend money to go and watch and ‘support’ the team when they play away from home etc. And, I’ve had more than enough of ‘supporting’ this shit, for this season. I also couldn’t care less what your opinion is.

So you're making this refereeing howler up then to suit an agenda. Thanks for clearing that up.I presume you know which incident I'm talking about. Even the SAFC twitter account took the piss out of the decision.
If the crowd will win us the game on sat we might as well rest all our best players until the final and just shout really loud instead.
