Have you tried the quick ticket option in your account, if it’s not been sold to anyone else system will throw up your seatIve missed the deadline to renew my seat on the online thing it wont let me choose my seat so gonna have to get another seat. If I buy it will I get a ticket in post or do I have to collect/print at home.
This mirrors the League Cup Semi Final in 2014 where there was only 31k there including 3-4k Man Utd fans.not getting over 30 thousand for this would be embarrassing, after all the desperation over Wembley tickets and now we can't sell over 50% of our home ground for a play off match.
I know some people will have situations where they can't go but if you would rather watch it in a pub then are you really a fan.
If we win I look forward to the thread asking about Wembley tickets

It is always the case, I just don't get why any fan wouldn't want to be at the game
We know there will always be people that can't go for important reasons and that's fine but we are going to be missing potentially 15 thousand fans who went to Wembley

Tbf if we get to Wembley I'm pretty convinced we wouldn't sell out.I wouldn't worry about it. I know for a fact that if we get to Wembley the priority ticket order is going to be;
1) Season Ticket Holders
2) Those who bought Portsmouth Playoff Tickets
3) Non ST holders with purchase history from the last year
The apathy towards this game will bite plenty on the arse when it comes to Wembley tickets and they start whinging that they cant get one.

We will. The bandwagon jumpers will be back out in force. 20k people will be making up excuses as to why they couldn't attend the semi final.Tbf if we get to Wembley I'm pretty convinced we wouldn't sell out.
I really hope you're right. But I'm not sure. Seen bits from people saying they would just have a bbq at home with the family or some bollocks like that, and others saying they aren't going back as it's always shit there. We'll get less tickets than the Checkatrade I think - I cannot imagine a situation whereby we can't sell our allocation for a Wembley appearance.
I’ve seen a lot of people slagging off fans for not going to the play-off game.
Whilst I genuinely appreciate the job that the owner has done, and I do still think that Jack Ross will become a pretty good manager, we have to admit that failing to get automatic promotion with that squad (and resources) is a failure.
Had we seen the team playing a good style of football and continue to improve as the season progressed, I think more people would be onboard. Unfortunately it went backwards. Too many poor decisions made, strange tactics and a far too negative approach have turned people away and i can understand that. We’ve shown no signs of improving.
I’ve bought our tickets but I won’t criticise anyone that chooses not to go.

Why the fuck? What about those like me who have been at loads of games, away included but god forbid, are on holiday for the semi’s. I am 10,000 miles away, back in Oz for my daughters 21st but will be back the day after the 2nd leg. Oh of course, I should have polished me crystal f***ing ball before I booked my hols, 6 months ago.If the crowd ends up fairly low and we do make Wembley, then semi final purchase history should definitely be the phase after STs for final tickets imo.
I understand some of your comments there, and I do agree that the football hasn't been great; largely flat performances, little attacking intent, always looking likely to concede instead of pressing on and putting teams on the back foot etc. That being said though, if you've turned up all season to watch it as we play bog standard games against Rochdale and Gillingham, surely you'd want to go one more time for a match that really matters? Football is all about the big games, the ones with the best celebrations because they really matter. As long as people can afford it I don't know why they'd not bother, imagine we all have a few pints pre match, get in the ground, make a cracking atmosphere, the lads turn up and we win 3-0, it would be mint and I'd be gutted to miss it. Of course it could go the other way and be a huge disappointment again, but I'd want to take the risk. Hell if I didn't go there wouldn't be another home match for nearly 3 months, that on its own would be enough to get me along
Don't think we'd get less tickets mate, certainly not significantly less. Last season villa got over 38,000You must be logged on to see external linksand if anything you'd imagine there would be more corporates etc taking tickets up for the Championship game than there would be for this one. Think we ultimately ended up with just over 40,000 for the checkatrade, expect we'd end up with the same for this
We had a good 3k in with the Norwich that day, in the same block as they could not sell all their ticketsWe were given 38,000 for the playoff final at Wembley against Norwich, if you get the end at the left as you come out the tunnel you get a few hundred more (something to do with corporate boxes).
It really is hard to argue with that. Whilst I've had a little moan at those not going I would say the bit in bold captures things well.I’ve seen a lot of people slagging off fans for not going to the play-off game.
