Same way football should work, equivalent to saying you have to be more than say 2inches offside before an onside decision can be overturned

They aren’t though are they. How does the video get paused at the exact moment of the player kicking the ball? How does the tv screen deal with the issue of parallax? There are just as many variables in offsides as the predictive pathway technology.
