The review is designed to correct a bad call by an umpire, not a one that is close. He said not out, and as it was marginal it stays with the umpire. Which is right IMO.

It's a good system, means the umpires still keep some power. It's only in place to overturn "bad" decisions.

Umpires call us crickets equivalent of “clear and obvious error” - gives the umpires some benefit of the doubt and means only the stupid decisions are overturned. Same way football should work, equivalent to saying you have to be more than say 2inches offside before an onside decision can be overturned
