Tbf to their spinners mind credit must go to our batsman especially the positive mindset the openers had towards them.

Thought our batsman were superb against them rather than shit bowling

Scrolling through the thread and see there was a lot of complaining about Buttler not being in earlier, but at the expense of who? Root was in from the 20th(ish) over which is fair enough, then Morgan who’s not long hit a world record amount of sixes in a game and then Stokes who’s having a superb tournament. No pleasing some people sometimes.

We had India 160-1 after 22 overs. Imagine Buttler coming in at that point and smashing it about? You have to go big early against India IMO as Bumrah is just too good at the death. Still got a good score but I don't think people saying Buttler should have been promoted to 3 are wrong or moaners or whatever.
