I've started to control myself on the transfer front as well. Got the team set up so no more changes are needed until New Zeland take on Canada on Sunday.
So much for that; I've just made 3 more transfers leaving me with only 9 left.

Although now I'm very happy with the team and the only other change I'll make for a while depends on Tahir's fitness.

Zaheer Khan being rested today; what a waste of a transfer.

Scratch that; Zaheer is playing but it turned out he wasn't in my team anyway.

I've had a mare today. Tendulkar, Gambhir and Steyn have all been in my time at some point and today they've all performed.

Just relying on Du Plessis and De Villiers now.

Watson (c), Ponting, Haddin and Johnson today.

Watson's already kinda failed in his main role and Haddin going along at snails pace...

I couldn't decide which of the NZ openers to go for. Tossed an imaginary coin and Guptill got the nod - bad choice.

Southee, Johnson and Watson had poor games so only Haddin did well for me today.

Up to 5th but despite still having 13 transfers left I suspect the 2 lads in the lead are out of my reach. I'll not give up though. :-)

Thanks for reminding me, I keep thinking it finishes at the end of the group stages. We're not even at half time yet.

I've brought in Umar Gul to play alongside Boom Boom tomorrow so hopefully that might put me back on track.

3-29 from 10 overs for captain Razzak today. :-)

Also got Younus Khan, U Akmal and Gul from the Pakistan team. I've taken a bit of risk not picking Afridi, hopefully he'll have one of his off days.

Loads of time to pull back 1,000+ points with 5-10 more transfers in the group stage than others and then the rest of the competition.

Quiet day for me today ... looking to come strong with Aus and SA in the next couple of days and some more transfers up my sleeve.

It's more than possible. Me and the guy in 2nd place have 5 and 3 transfers left respectively and I wasted one by sticking Umar Akmal in when he wasn't playing today.

If someone has a great day it's very easy to make up 600-700 points and those transfers will be a big help.
