All these supplements are bollocks and are incredibly bad for your liver etc. and are partially responsible for the rise of cancer rates, as is eating high amounts of red meat for protein.
If people focused on their mental strength, (meditation, philosophy etc) they might not be so insecure to want to have overly inflated muscles to impress people or to look hard, because let's face it that's what 90% of weightlifters are doing it for.
I take all of my protein from a balanced diet and have naturally sized muscles that are really defined (look up images of artillery men for an example) and because I only do body weight workouts they are strong in functional strength, rather than these weightlifters who do isolated muscle workouts that may look big, but functionally (aka in a fight) are just inflated air muscles. Check out videos of bodybuilders being destroyed in arm wrestles or grappling by guys with smaller muscles but high functional strength.
I find it mental people spend hours at the gym trying to impress other people with big pudding muscles, but 0 hours per week building their mental strength and wisdom. People are lost in this Instagram world of vapid, superficial, fakeness, my 55 year old uncle just got his teeth done in turkey, his teeth were fine and he's happily married so not like he's out on the pull, he did it because social media has him insecure. Tragic.
