Hmmmm. Orange isn’t a goer for me like. However, I’ve drank Guinness in the two pubs I’ve been to & lager in the ground. So that actually sounds like heaven.

Indeed.

I've reigned it in now in terms of volume. Wasn't that long ago I'd drop to 2/3ers at a push regardless of abv. Now i will throw a few halves into the mix. Still don't think I'd ever go to 3rds unless it's an impy at like 12-15% as a one drink and it's away.

Usually though I go 2/3s on Keg and pints on Cask. Yesterday I had 5 pints. Enough to satisfy/feel it was a decent outing but easily less enough to not even feel like I'd been out when I woke up.

Tbh I’d instigated the halves protocol early doors yesterday. Problem is there’s that much to try on the mile 😂

Aye that's the thing, if you're flying about say The Beer Mile, you'd hardly scratch the surface if you just hammered the pints.

Was on about this the other day. Once upon a time there was the known saying of never mixing your drinks. In the craft world it's rare people sup even the same drink twice when out on a one :lol:

I’d have scoffed anyone drinking halves a few years ago. In the likes of the Isis now I only drink halves. I don’t drink less, I just try more different beers. Normally buy two halves at a time too.
