Craft Beer

Wait till you go in the 3 stories.

It’s like having a pint in the moulin rouge
I was in on Thursday night and it wasn’t warm then either. Decent pub tho, good selection of beers and the lads behind the bar were very good. Dunno why but I was expecting it to be bigger.
There’s a massive space out the back that isn’t heated up yet. Once the food offering is sorted it will solve that 🤞

3 Stories looks terrible, I feel this is a safe space to say that  Tacky as can be. It'll probably do alright though and it's good to see another venue in the town. Serves a purpose.

Isn't it something like Vu dnt? Not for me though. Ver dant. No messing about and has always resulted in me getting the pint I wanted.
Vuh-dnt…I think people assume it’s a made up name but it’s just a word which isn’t commonly used. Mind, I got it wrong for years before someone from Verdant corrected me.

Reet, so, bought 8 bottles from Brewlab recently. Haven’t sampled yet, but 4 for £11 isn’t bad at all & think their range change regularly based on who’s been in, so worth a pop.

Got my Wear Beer delivery Monday.

Was drinking Samson last night in the Firestation.

My Vaux box had got delivered today.

Had a moment of weakness yesterday driving (arguably) near Jesmond so did a bit of a Rehills shop.

There was some proper big hitting Omnipollo’s on there, but I can’t be spending nearly £30 on a bottle until I win the lottery.

Some good stuff their, that Vaux box is a good un. No lager. Been meaning to order some of theirs now they're canning again.

Aye, I only bother with the Pilsner if I’m at a festival or something. Wouldn’t bother in the house, so a guest normally gets it. Freddy’s Drop is an ideal warm up beer if I’m going out anywhere. Hazy Shade is consistently good, Black Wave I can’t get enough of (although the Double Brown might have overtaken it) & Cuzzy was fantastic first time round. Looking forward to trying again.

Might call in there at 12 on the Friday for a couple of hours before I head off to The Railway Qtr for beers and market shenanigans.

Excellent selection. Kernel never disappointed, Jakehead remains a great and those two VC stouts will be the business.
